Wool

A true artist of wool, Myriam Perrissun-Fabert pursues an artistic approach conceived through projects and series, exploring the material's expressive potential in unexpected ways, in dialogue with the natural rhythm of the seasons. Drawing inspiration from the nature that surrounds her, Myriam designs garments that seek to connect the female body with the material, weaving a subtle relationship between skin and wool, between life and gesture.

Milliner

Maison Perrissin-Fabert felt hats and berets are crafted with meticulous care. The wool, carded at the mill, is then hand-felted in the workshop to create the hats. Finally, the hats are molded and shaped using steam, following a traditional method. Each piece is unique and reflects an authentic craftsmanship that we are proud to uphold.

Weaver

Weaving is a process that involves interlacing threads, with the warp threads running lengthwise and the weft threads running crosswise. An ancient art, weaving combines ancestral know-how with technological advancements through the evolution of looms. Our weaver creates fabrics using hand looms, a skill that requires patience and dexterity to produce delicate textiles, ranging from the simplest to the most sophisticated.

Sewing

Sewing plays a role at every stage of garment making, from prototyping to finishing. While the major production steps are carried out mechanically, the finishing touches are very often done by hand. Thus, each garment passes through the hands of our seamstresses, allowing the needle and thread to carefully add the final touches.

Felting

Felting is the process by which wool fibers are worked so that they clump together and form a dense texture. Whether a natural or induced phenomenon, felted fabric is obtained either by needle punching or using soap and water. At Maison Perrissin-Fabert, we have chosen artisanal felting for our fabrics, which gives us the flexibility of bespoke fabrics, closely aligned with the brand's requirements and a unique material, making each piece one of a kind.

Leather goods

All the leather elements featured on Maison Perrissin-Fabert pieces are handcrafted in our mountains. Buckles, bags, belts... so many different elements that require diverse skills and the ability to adapt to each accessory. We are proud to contribute to the preservation of an age-old craft that reflects French savoir-faire.

Knitting Models

Pattern making involves creating a garment by drafting the pattern and grading it from an existing drawing or design. The specific characteristics of knitwear, particularly its elasticity and flexibility, require specialized knowledge. Our knitwear pattern maker combines the art of knitting with textile design to offer you unique pieces while maintaining the spirit of Maison Perrissin-Fabert.
